Woke up this morning...

HELLOOOOOOO EVERYONE!!! Wow, I have not done a post in a while and let me tell you it feels good blogging again after not blogging for a while! So to kick off
this post I'm gonna tell you all a story about my day, anyone ever heard of the song "change" by group 1 crew? Well I'm gonna tell you all about what happened today with the help of that song give or take a little. This is what happened today:


Woke up this morning ( at 5am!)
 put on my make up ( at 5:36 am...)
Didn't stop to think of what's going on ( because HELLOOO it was 5am)
Outside my window, the world is changing I
can't remember where it all went wrong...

So I wanna make, make this a place
Where we can forget all the problems of yesterday ( so I went to this event called burn 24/7 where for 27 hours the church was open for worship and prayer...)
Let's make a change for a better today
Let it begin with you and me lets, make it a reality :)
So we can make a difference if we turn it around-
the world is upside down
The revolution starts inside ( of you)

In need a better future, let's be a part of the cure ( 'cuz i know we could)
where unity can be the brush to paint a better picture ( In most stories it usually only starts with one with an idea to make things better)
we need to plant a seed of something we're all in need off
trough God we can make this world
Into something we only dream of ( a place a peace, hope and love...)

My Mondays are usually...

Mondays are usually quite boring for me, I mean the weekend is over and the weekend rush  is gone, this weekend was really great. On Friday night I went up to this youth event that was called ``Rock the Park`` that was being held in a city about 45 minutes away from my town with my youth group and I had so much fun there. 2 girls from my youth group slept over at my house because we got home pretty late and since they live in the country it would be hard for their parents to come pick them up. The next morning I was supposed to be helping my dad with our renovation, but my 2 friend`s mom invited my sister and I to come swim in their new pool which they just got working- it was no skimpy pipsqueak of a pool posing as a pool-it was huge!!
                                                                                   
 So my sister and I slept over at their house and on Sunday morning we went to church, I can`t really remember what I did that night. Then the next day was Monday and I was kinda down about the weekend, I was just doing school and the normal stuff any homeschool kid does on a weekday. Then around 6pm these 2 Filipino boys we know (ages 3 and 7) called us and asked if they could come over and play, Rachel, Julia and I went over to pick them up around 7ish a little after supper. I played wii with them while Julia and Rachel went on a quick bike ride. The wii was having some issues and was not working right but after a while I got it to work on wii sports and that was fun. :)
                                                   
 Rachel and Julia joined us in the basement after their bike ride and I went upstairs and made popcorn for the boys, they enjoyed it a
 lot! Rachel, Julia, and I drove them home shortly after I made the popcorn for them. While we were driving back home we drove by a Boston Pizza and Rachel joked about going there to get a Chocolate Explosion. we got home and we were going to go downstairs to watch a movie or a episode of something but my mom and dad watching their own show so we asked if we could go get a Chocolate Explosion and my mom said yes. We got to BP`s (Boston pizza) ordered our Chocolate Explosion to share and gobbled it down. it was SO good! So life is good and I can`t complain, I hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

I am starting back to (home) school today and I am feeling rather good about it, I am sad that summer is gone but I am really hopeful about this fall and I have a good feeling about everything that has to come. :)

           Strawberry Banana Smoothie/Milkshake

~At least 2 cups of diced strawberries
~A couple splashes of milk
~1-2 teaspoons sugar
~A tablespoon honey
~3-4 scoops of icecream if your wanting a milkshake
or instead of using icecream you can improve with
 strawberry yogurt to make a more like smoothie drink :)
~at least 7 icecubes
~*The secret ingredient* 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
